The town of Kolasin presents the main ski and winter sports centre in Montenegro. The slopes of Bjelasica mountain have perfect conditions for winter sports, so the ski resort is located there. It has recently renovated ski lifts, double chairlift and a six-seated chairlift and is considered the most modern skiing facility in Montenegro. There are 17km of ski trails, and a capacity of 5500 skiers per hour. The ski centre has a restaurant and opportunities for renting ski equipment.
Its location on Bjelasica mountain makes it also suitable for snowshoe hiking, Nordic skiing and other winter sports. During the winter season, there are numerous parties and events that gather many people not only from Montenegro but from the whole region.
